How it works
How a quote happens
-
List the openings
Type, width, height, quantity, glass and colour for each window and door — on a laptop in the office or a phone on site. Photos and a hand sketch go on the same row.
-
It is priced and drawn for you
Every line is priced from the rates you set once, and every opening is drawn, so what the customer sees is what you would fabricate.
-
Send one link
The customer opens it on any phone with no login, reads the quote and the drawings, and accepts online. Their reply comes back to your inbox, on the same conversation.
The workspace
Everything the office runs on
-
Quotes priced from your rates
The server prices every line from the rates, glass, colours and extras you set once — margin or cost-of-production mode — so every salesperson lands on the same numbers.
-
Drawings your customer understands
Every opening drawn in 2D and 3D from real extrusion data — sliders, awnings, stackers, bifolds, composites — with opening directions and flyscreens where they are priced.
-
One link: read, accept, sign
A PDF for the file and a link that opens on any phone. You see when it was opened, revised versions stay on the same link, and the acceptance goes straight onto the job.
-
Customers and follow-ups
Customer records with their sites, leads and a timeline of every quote and conversation. Follow-up tasks and automatic follow-up emails keep quotes from going cold.
-
A team inbox for customer email
Your workspace gets its own email address from day one. Customer email links itself to the customer and the quote, and replies to a quote land in the same conversation.
-
Your business website
A fast, mobile-friendly site — home, about, products, your work and contact — built from your company details and product list, with an enquiry form that sends every enquiry to you.
-
An AI assistant that drafts, not decides
Turn a customer’s plans, schedule or photos into a draft quote, and get help drafting replies. A person approves before anything goes to a customer.
-
From acceptance to installation
An accepted quote becomes a project: measure, manufacture, delivery and install dates, a customer portal for the files, and a schedule the factory can read.
-
On any device, at your own address
Measure, photograph and sketch on site, price in the office — in the browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. Your workspace lives at yourname.cockatoomind.com, and a full export is one click away.
Not a window and door business? CockatooMind also runs quotes, invoices, credit notes, recurring invoices and payments for trades, professional services, cleaning and maintenance, and retail — with your own products and services, GST handled, and exports for Xero and MYOB. Choose your industry when you sign up.
What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.

Reliability
Built to be relied on
Your quotes, prices and customers are the business. Here is how they are kept — plain facts you can check on our privacy policy and status page.
-
Stored in Australia
Your quotes, customers, photos and files are stored in Australia. Every outside service that touches them is named in the privacy policy.
-
Encrypted on every connection
Every page is served over HTTPS through Cloudflare’s network, which filters hostile traffic first. A web application firewall guards the servers too.
-
A workspace of your own
Each business gets its own separate workspace, with its own database tables and file storage. Your prices, customers and quotes are never visible to another business.
-
Your data stays yours
Export everything — every quote, photo, drawing and setting — as one file from your console, at any time, on every plan.
-
Protected sign-in
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, never as text, and repeated failed sign-ins are rate-limited by network and by account.
-
A person approves what the AI sends
The assistant can draft quotes and replies, but nothing goes to a customer until someone on your team approves it.
-
Payments through Stripe
Your subscription is paid on Stripe’s own secure checkout. We never see or store a card number.
-
Status in the open
A public status page shows whether sign-in, workspaces, email delivery, PDFs and scheduled tasks are working right now.
Made in a fabrication business, not a software one
CockatooMind is the quoting system a Sydney aluminium window and door fabricator built for its own desk and its own installers, then opened up to the trade. Every rule in it — minimum billable areas, how an XOX divides, what a flyscreen costs on an awning — came from a real quote that went wrong first.
FAQ
Questions fabricators ask first
Do I need a card to start?
No. The 14-day trial is a complete workspace with no card on file. Pick a plan when it ends, or let it lapse — nothing is charged.
Whose rates does it price with?
Yours. The workspace starts with placeholder rates that are clearly marked as such; you enter your own square-metre rates, glass and colour surcharges and extras, and every quote from then on uses them. Nothing about your pricing is visible to any other workspace.
Is there an app to install?
There is nothing to install. The workspace runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or laptop, so the office and the people on site work on the same quotes.
Do the website and the email address cost extra?
Every workspace can publish its business website and has its own email address for the team inbox. Extras such as customer records and your own web address depend on the plan — the pricing page lists exactly what each one includes.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. A full export — every quote, photo, drawing and setting — is one click in your console, at any time, on every plan.
How long does setting up take?
About ten minutes, once: company details, pricing basics, glass and colour, your team, your first quote. The getting-started guide walks through it.
